What we are doing now
While we are no longer on the road we are still supporting the arts
After 10 years of touring the Real Art Roadshow closed its doors, but the Real Art Trust continues to help the visual arts through sponsorships. Primarily we assist with study grants for talented and determined artists going into their first year of art-based tertiary education, but we also cover other projects that impress us.
Here is a small selection of what we have done:
Eva Lee
Look at the state of you – 2024
Made from over 1500 ceramic bisque fired charms.
"This work is based on a poem I wrote, created a cypher for, and then arranged in order of the alphabet. They are pinned to the wall with colourful sewing pins."

"It is with full gratitude that I thank The Real Trust for sponsoring my drawing classes at Newtown and Berhampore School. Every week approximately 120 very focused 5-10 year old artists fine tune their drawing skills with a working artist (me) at the helm.
As a result they sharpen their listening skills, their ability to focus on a creative provocation, learn how to master their tools, and feel empowered as individuals and creative beings. Children at this age are hungry to learn and they need every tool at their disposal to solve the challenges that lay ahead in their lives.
With the support of the Real Art Trust we are providing them with those tools and the knowledge that they can master the skills to shape their future in a positive way."
